What the heck is Taheebo?

"We ought to walk through the rooms of our lives not looking for flaws,

but looking for potential." -- Ellen Goodman

Have you ever heard of the pau d'arco tree (pronounce POW dee arco)? Isn't it pretty? It is the only known tree that fungus will not grow on. I love learning about things in nature that refuse to behave the way everything else does, just do their own thing. I don't like fungus growing on me either so I would probably choose to be a pau d'arco tree if I could.

The pau d'arco tree also goes by the names pink trumpet tree, lapacho or taheebo, growing natively from Mexico down to northern Argentina, where it was commonly used by native hunters for making bows. It has been used medicinely for millenia. Scientists have identified two active chemicals in pau d’arco called naphthoquinones; they are lapachol and beta-lapachone. These chemicals have the power to kill bacteria, fungi, viruses and parasites. They have also shown anti-inflammatory properties, which are important in treating health conditions such as osteoarthritis.

There are over 100 species of pau d’arco, but only a few yield high-quality material; plus, it takes extremely skilled gatherers to know what species are the most effective. The medicinal part of the tree is the bark, specifically the inner lining of the bark, called the phloem (pronounced floam). Unfortunately, many companies use the whole bark, containing the dead wood too, and this naturally dilutes the activity of the material.

The benefits of pau d'arco are so many, reducing pain and inflammation, fighting candida, healing ulcers, detoxifying the body are a but a few. It is well-known to fight the metastasis, or spread of cancer throughout the body, and for being antifungal, antibiotic and antiviral. It is a powerful tool to have in your arsenal.

Taheebo by Life Force Int'l is a tincture made from the pau d'arco tree's inner purple bark. Taking one dropperful morning and evening promotes greater well-being and totally supports your whole immune system. You can even use it on wounds and sores. Doesn't it feel good to give your body the tools it needs to fight the onslaught of today's pollutions?

The key to fighting sickness is to find the potential in the tools available to us. If we dwell on the flaw, or dis-ease, we give it power. It will continue as long as we dwell on it. Let's start dwelling on Wellness!!! That's part of how to make your life ROCK! Click here to order some today!
